Nasdaq – Elevating Web Infrastructure for a Global Financial Leader

2 min read

Overview

Nasdaq (Nasdaq: NDAQ) is a global leader in trading, clearing, exchange technology, listing, market intelligence, and public company services. The organization equips clients with cutting-edge technologies to plan, optimize, and execute business strategies with transparency and precision in today’s capital markets.

As part of a digital modernization initiative, Nasdaq Corporate Solutions sought to upgrade its Investor Relations and Newsroom website platforms. Drupal 8 was selected as the foundation for this next-generation infrastructure to deliver enhanced scalability, editorial flexibility, and long-term maintainability.

Objective

The primary objective was to establish a secure, scalable, and future-ready content management platform that could support Nasdaq’s dynamic communications ecosystem. The solution needed to align with stringent enterprise-grade security and performance benchmarks, integrate with legacy systems, and serve as a sustainable platform for future digital growth across Nasdaq’s web properties.

Our Solution

Our team collaborated closely with Nasdaq to support the audit, transition, and stabilization of its Drupal 8–based platform. The engagement focused on evaluating the implementation across several technical and operational dimensions. Each area was reviewed, documented, and assessed with targeted recommendations for optimization.

Key focus areas included:

Acquia Components & Infrastructure

  • Assessed the number and purpose of deployed domains and environments
  • Reviewed usage of Acquia Remote Administration (RA) support for security updates
  • Analyzed performance insights from New Relic and Acquia Connector tools
