Reinventing Dealer & Distributor Engagement for a Leading Glass Manufacturer

2 min read

Overview

A global leader in sustainable construction materials, partnered with us to digitally transform its dealer-distributor network in India, focusing on its Hardware Products division. The objective was clear: build a unified B2B platform that could bring together Distributors, Agents, Wholesalers, and Retailers in one seamless ecosystem - modernizing how products are sold, tracked, and fulfilled. The initiative aimed to simplify commerce, boost partner loyalty, and improve visibility and coordination across the value chain, ultimately contributing to topline growth.

Objectives

  • Create a self-service B2B commerce portal for the client’s channel ecosystem
  • Support both Online Payment and Cash on Delivery (COD) options based on geography and buyer profile
  • Enable location-aware inventory visibility, helping retailers find and order from the nearest distributor
  • Seamlessly integrate with the centralized Product Information Management (PIM) system and ERP
  • Offer a scalable foundation for future modules like partner rewards, training, and loyalty engagement
  • Introduce a consistent user experience across channel personas while simplifying backend ops

Our Solution

We used our proprietary Enterprise Atom™ Model to architect a modular, loyalty-focused, and scalable platform that placed the brand at the nucleus of the channel experience.

Dealer-Distributor Portal

We built a full-featured B2B portal that allowed the client to connect multiple tiers of channel partners across India. The portal supported multi-role access, so distributors, agents, and retailers could interact differently based on permissions, pricing, and service levels.

Inventory Proximity & Smart Fulfilment

By integrating with the client's ERP and using location intelligence, the platform helped users quickly discover nearby distributors with ready stock, improving fulfilment speed and satisfaction rates.

Flexible Payment & Order Models

The platform was designed to support online payments, credit terms, and COD models, adaptable by region, partner type, and order value. This reduced friction in adoption across urban and semi-urban markets.

PIM & ERP Integration

Products and catalogs were fetched dynamically via the central Product Information Management (PIM) system, ensuring real-time accuracy and reducing manual maintenance. Order processing and fulfillment were tightly linked to the ERP layer.

Designed for Loyalty & Revenue Uplift

The entire experience—from intuitive search and ordering to order tracking, reordering, and CRM integration—was aimed at making the client the preferred brand in a competitive B2B space. Partner engagement features built on the Atom Model positioned them as a value-added enabler, not just a supplier.
